Data Engineer $500 - $1,000 per day Super 4-month full-time contract Chatswood location Opportunity to work within the NSW Government Role Overview: 2XM Recruit is seeking a Data Engineer to join a Data Analytics Services team for a NSW Government. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data-driven healthcare. Key Responsibilities: Craft intricate analytics designs and products, empowering our healthcare data-driven vision. Your solutions will deliver desired outcomes while identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies. Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated data models supporting critical clinical analytics and reporting needs. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy for meaningful insights. Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines, leveraging cloud technologies to optimise data ingestion and processing. Your expertise will drive efficiency and effectiveness. Utilise your analytics prowess to offer subject matter expertise. Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, achieving healthcare and business outcomes. Create data visualisations and reports that effectively communicate complex insights to diverse audiences. Empower stakeholders to make informed decisions with clarity and precision. Contribute to the development and implementation of coding and testing standards. Elevate security, functionality, supportability, and efficiency for superior performance. Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in data visualisation tools like PowerBI, Qlik, and Oracle Analytics Cloud. Experience with large, complex data sets, preferably with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) data structures. Expertise in SQL and working with databases such as Oracle and Snowflake. Proficiency in building data integration pipelines with ETL tools like Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, and Oracle Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC). Proven track record of delivering in high-volume environments, using Agile and/or Scrum methodologies. A growth mindset, continually improving your knowledge and processes to exceed customer expectations. You must have full working rights in Australia and vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this role.
