We are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join the Major Operations team on an initial 12-month assignment with our client that specializes in the Mining Industry. Position: Senior Electrical Designer Period: 12 months Location: Perth, WA Project Insights: Major sustaining project for an existing mine. For design - new NPI infrastructure - haul road networks (civil earthworks), gas pipeline crossing, LV access roads, surface water management (waterway crossing), connection/extension to existing raw water distribution, satellite NPI facilities, communications infrastructure. New roads (heavy & light vechicles) - some crossing over gas pipelines, extending water pipelines, extension of existing water lines, extending powerlines, new comms towers, hydrology / drainage / dewatering assessments etc. The first 6 months will be a basic design. Then transition to detailed design. A good 18 months minimum of work ahead. The main flavor of design endeavours will be bulk earthworks, water transport & management, and low voltage powerlines. Candidate Requirements: MicroStation essential. 4 - 7 years in Electrical Design (2D & 3D). Mining non-process infrastructure background is preferred. Will consider onshore oil and gas project experience. Need to be high-energy and driven individuals. Not essential, but ideally no significant annual leave plans for the next 6 months.
