Your role:Responsibilities include: coordinate the tracking and administrative workflow systems for the branch to ensure high quality and timely responses to correspondence/ briefings, Ministerial and senior officer requests; manage a high-volume electronic mailbox and maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in accordance with the public service code of conduct, in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment; work in an integrated way with the broader division to ensure effective alignment of information, support, messaging, and content coordination; quality assure and interpret information on a wide range of issues in all administrative documents associated with projects within the branch according to departmental guidelines and whole-of-government policies and legislation; contribute to a positive, productive and professional team culture. Our ideal applicant will have the following key attributes: demonstrated knowledge and experience in the coordination of advice for ministerial and government business; demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation; exceptional organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively; demonstrated ability to prepare and coordinate advice, briefings and correspondence for executive senior officers; and high level of written and verbal communication skills with the ability to resolve problems, engage stakeholders as well as influence and negotiate successful outcomes (where appropriate).
