With over two billion dollars' worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth, we seek to bring a seasoned Construction Manager with a strong Marine background into our business to work on major projects across the sate. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will ensure the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for the Project through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control. Key accountabilities for the position: Provide support and advice on planning and design suitability Manage the operational aspects of project delivery Supervise and coordinate resource allocation with the expectation that you would encourage effective teamwork and foster a positive attitude Demonstrates an understanding of the process of incident / accident prevention and incident / accident reporting Manage cost control for aspects of the project ·Coordinate direct labour workforce and sub-contractors Required Skills and Competencies Capability & Experience will you need to have: Bachelor Degree (Engineering) Prior experience in infrastructure remediation e.g. wharfs, jetties, marinas Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve. Strong communicator who can lead and influence to achieve collaborative outcomes.
