Civil Designer — Perth CBD, Perth

Description Our established and growing Perth Civil team is seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join the team. Stantec are considered market leaders in Urban Land Development (subdivision) in Western Australia and have a strong long-term pipeline of work. About the role Stantec are currently delivering a variety of commercial, land development, urban infrastructure projects. This role includes project design and delivery across a range of projects and within land subdivision sector. Projects range from early concept design and master planning through to detailed design and construction documentation. The role would suit someone mainly urban and land development experience from civil engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will be provided with an opportunity to develop professionally and personally and provided with an opportunity to forge a rewarding career path in a successful consultancy working on well-known projects. Responsibilities include: Technical design and documentation utilizing 12D or Civil 3D and AutoCAD as primary packages. Design collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers and drafters Be responsible for project designs dependent on experience and complexity Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants Support the Group Leader with monitoring and reporting on the performance of the group. Ensure allocated projects and proposals are planned, programmed and appropriately managed to meet or exceed client expectations. Adhere to professional standards, ethics and Stantec quality procedures To be successful for this role you will need: Ideally have good technical design background in aspects of civil design including bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer and water network design within reference to Australian Standards and local WA authority standards. Experience in design and documentation platforms including 12D, or Civil 3D and AutoCAD Experience in stormwater management is desirable A desire to increase broad range of skills covering project delivery, technical business development and people management Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients (internal & external) What we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
