Permanent Full Time 2IC Warehouse Role $80,000 plus super Parking on Site Our client is an established International Flavour and Fragrance House based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and are currently looking for 2IC to join their warehouse team. You will need strong experience with SAP. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of products to customers both internally and externally, which supports our client's business’s focus on Excellent service to all our customers; Ensuring that all inventory are reflected accurately in the company’s SAP system. Key Duties and Responsibilities Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments and that the SAP system reflects accurately what is physically present at Symrise’s warehouse. Accurate receipting and preparing the dispatch of goods by keeping records. Booking in transport of incoming and outgoing shipments. Investigate inventory issues, resolving issues and escalation of issues to the appropriate group if they cannot be resolved. Ensure any corrective actions are implemented quickly. Maintain communication and liaison with manager and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth distribution processes for all of products. Incoming stock, checking inventory prior to taking into a Symrise facility, checking for damages, pests and shortages must be report to management in an appropriate manner. Activities relating to Inbound - receipting of goods and booking into the system using Symrise’s business processes. Owning the inventory and obsolete stock write off control. General warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks, stock movement, palletising, operating high reach forklift and manual handling. Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience Minimum Higher School Certificate, tertiary qualification preferred in a related discipline. Previous experience in a similar role Previous experience working in the food/beverage manufacturing and warehousing environment an advantage Previous experience with food safety an advantage Knowledge of quality procedures and systems Work, Health and Safety knowledge and experience Forklift licence essential Dangerous Goods Handling experience Computer Literate with SAP Experience essential The successful candidate will be back-up for the Warehouse Manager in their absence and supervise a small warehouse team.
