About the Role As a Café Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Responsibilities include: Training team members in store processes and procedures. Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards. Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Store Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations. Assist in the preparation of both food and beverages/coffees. Undertake adhoc banking duties. About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following: 2 years of supervisory experience Bubbly and enthusiastic personality Strong knowledge of general café operations Barista experience Ability to lead and run a shift Understanding of till reconciliation and cash handling Exceptional time management skills and reliability Flexible availability on weekends & evenings You will be a natural leader with excellent soft skills, and be able to inspire and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.
