About the Company Our client is a boutique custom home builder with a niche focus on knock down re-builds, complete home renovations, high-end finishes and innovative designs. Building approximately 40-60 homes a year, their clientele is primarily focused in the North West, North Shore and Northern Beaches market with third and fourth home buyers. This Builder is rapidly becoming recognised as one of the most reputable Custom Home Builders in Sydney and are seeking a Building Designer to join their team. You will work closely with the customers and the Directors from initial concept design through to final plans and drawings. About the Role Our Client is looking for an experienced Building Designer or Architect to join their team based in North West Sydney. You will be directly involved in the design and documenting of bespoke homes, in addition to working with the business owners to come up with new and innovative master plans and designs. You will be joining a team of highly experienced individuals and growing business within the residential construction and high-end market. Duties Participate in design meetings with customers Create conceptual drawings and designs, ensuring that you are taking into considering budget and local planning/zone requirements Production of drawings and plans to meet client specifications, tenders and variations Provide design solutions for custom projects Ensure that documentation is compliant with codes, guidelines, standards and regulations including quality checks Comprehensive understanding of NCC and regulations Ability to communicate effectively with clients, management and internal teams 3D modelling and rendering may be required from time to time Skills & Experience Bachelor of Architectural Design (or equivalent) Proficient and highly skilled with drafting and design software (preferably Revit or Archicad) Minimum 5 years experience as a Building Designer or Architect within the residential building market Highly organised with strong attention to detail Experience working across bespoke homes and concept design, construction drawings, renders, variations, council plans etc. Comprehensive understanding of BCA, NCC and regulations Benefits Attractive remuneration up to $130,000 superannuation, experience dependant Flexible working hours Annual salary reviews Be supported by a highly experienced and knowledgeable team Staff parking available on site Work for a local, Australian owned and established business Be part of a growing business with a strong pipeline of work Feel free to each out to me on 0447 367 966 for a confidential chat or if you have any questions regarding the role.
