With a total investment of $280M including contributions from industry partners, UNSW, the University of Newcastle, and the Commonwealth, TRaCE is set to make a substantial impact on emissions reduction. UNSW is establishing the “TRaCE Technology Translation Squad” to provide rapid research and development support for industry organisations to tackle immediate technical challenges that are encountered during the development of products and services which have a significant impact on emissions reduction. Reporting to the Lead Technology Translator, you will: - Engage with industry organisations to identify and address electrical engineering technical challenges Translate client needs into clear project scopes Contribute to various high-impact technology translation projects Foster collaboration between industry and academia The opportunities for successful candidates to develop their skills and experience are diverse including assisting with commercialisation of critical Australian technology in the Recycling and Clean Energy field, contributing to strategic direction of this initiative, conducting high-impact research or teaching students.
