Job no: 523219 Work type: full time Location: Sydney, NSW Categories: Business Development / Industry Engagement, Project Management, Knowledge Exchange The Opportunity Integral member of a team of experts employed in high-impact technology translation Full-time (35 week), fixed term contract to May 2027 $118,883 - $ 133,948 17% super leave loading The Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) is the first fully integrated research to market eco-system in Australia and will accelerate the translation of disruptive technologies out of the laboratory and into local manufacturing and global deployment. With a total investment of $280M including contributions from industry partners, UNSW, the University of Newcastle, and the Commonwealth, TRaCE is set to make a substantial impact on emissions reduction. UNSW is establishing the “TRaCE Technology Translation Squad” to provide rapid research and development support for industry organisations to tackle immediate technical challenges that are encountered during the development of products and services which have a significant impact on emissions reduction. Reporting to the Lead Technology Translator, you will: - Engage with industry organisations to identify and address electrical engineering technical challenges Translate client needs into clear project scopes Contribute to various high-impact technology translation projects Foster collaboration between industry and academia The opportunities for successful candidates to develop their skills and experience are diverse including assisting with commercialisation of critical Australian technology in the Recycling and Clean Energy field, contributing to strategic direction of this initiative, conducting high-impact research or teaching students.
