As the Senior Controls & Electrical Engineer you will be supporting and leading projects end-to-end working on tier one mining optimisation projects. AustCorp Executive is partnering with an Australian owned Industrial Automation & Technology company, who provide turnkey solutions to the mining and resources sector with a strong focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, Process and Control Systems Engineering. As a result of continued growth, we are actively recruiting for another Senior Control & Electrical Engineer to join the team, working on Mining optimisation projects from Pit to Port including Hydrogeology instrumentation. As the Control Systems Engineer your day-to-day engineering will include but not be limited to the following: PLC programming: GE, Allen Bradley, Schneider SCADA Ignition (Must Have) Specification and test documentation Site commissioning Project engineering from conceptualization through to completion Technical support for both internal and external parties Delivery of the works would be as per client standards and in accordance with Australian Standards Work with other engineers, designers and client/contractors as required to support project success A little bit about you: A degree qualified engineer ideally Mechatronics, Electrical or relevant industry experience You enjoy working across multiple projects You enjoy being a hands-on engineer and getting involved in all stages of a project from start to finish You possess on-site commissioning experience with Australian Mining – ideally Iron Ore processing plants Experience with a range of PLC’s, HMI, SCADA network systems – GE, Allen-Bradley, Ignition SCADA (Essential) What is in it for you?
