Our client operates a modern fleet of prime movers which incorporate various configurations from tandem truck and dog, semi tippers through to B Double and A Double/triple road-trains. They also operate 5 cement powder tankers ranging from singles, road trains and PBS compliant twin steer truck and 5 axle dog cement tankers. The role: Exciting opportunities exist for reliable Tipper & Tanker Drivers based out of their Dry Creek operation working on Night Shift. We are looking for reliable Tipper & Tanker Drivers who can work independently and use their initiative. Day to day duties include transporting product, pre-loading, relief driving, carrying out deliveries and general driving in house/in the yard. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Championing safety procedures to the highest standard Complete pre-start checks Safe operation of heavy vehicles backed by a solid driving record Maintenance of vehicles to company standards Participate in ongoing learning and development including adherence to regular D&A screening The successful candidate will have: Available to work Night shift UNRESTRICTED MC licence (ESSENTIAL) Experience in a manual road ranger gearbox is mandatory plus a willingness to learn Pneumatic Tanker Experience operating a tipper or tanker (preferred) Ability to work beyond fulltime hours - therefore applicants must not have restrictions to work hours Ability to pass required functional assessments and D&A testing Ability to work a 12hr day Ongoing work for the right candidates.
