Position title: Team Leader, Administrative/Property Services Position Number: E20010349 About the role: As the successful applicant you will join the team bringing with you appropriate administrative, team management and property management experience. The Team Leader position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and administration of their portfolio including supervisory duties of the team. Your duties will include: Manage and be accountable for the station lost and confiscated property office and associated duties. Supervise, train staff and be accountable for motivating staff and provide performance feedback. Role model a high standard of customer service and adopt best practice behaviours when dealing with clients or within the administration support team at Footscray Police Complex. Establish and maintain a strong effective working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient business practices. Provide advice and support to local and senior management on various administration issues. As the successful applicant, you will have: Demonstrated experience in managing teams, developing staff, and managing team performance. Proven ability to work in a team environment through flexibility and achieving common goals. High level problem solving skills. A good knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. Commitment and achievement in meeting a high level of customer service to all clients. Strong computer skills. Requirements and relevant information: One (1) full time on-going position available. Position is located at the Footscray Police Station, 66 Hyde Street, Footscray. While positions will have a nominated usual place of work, the position may be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
