As an Inclusive Practices teacher at Mount Gravatt SHS you will have responsibility for, but not limited to the following: Play a key role in the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving and ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students Case management of a range of students to increase engagement in classroom differentiation and inclusion strategies Liaising with parents and care givers with regards to all Inclusive Education services Liaising with external and internal student support agencies Co-ordinating with AVT and therapists Monitoring students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary. Thinking strategically and innovatively in the approach to curriculum, pedagogy and work with staff to support continuous improvement in the professional growth of MGH's staff and education programs Playing a role in the implementation of the school's explicit improvement agenda in an inclusion context Be part of a problem of practice approach to improvement, collaborative empowerment through a faculty based professional learning team, coaching and mentoring Incorporate innovative practices in providing quality differentiated teaching pedagogy, such as, but not limited to, co-teaching, focussed and intensive teaching.
