Position Information Doonside Technology High School is a comprehensive high school with a focus on the use of innovative and cutting edge learning to best engage our students. We have a diverse student population with an enrolment of 705 students in 2024, with 18% Aboriginal students. Our Support Unit caters for the needs of 74 students including students in Stage 6.  We focus on fostering a culture of high expectations and a shared commitment from all members of our school community to wellbeing, engagement, learning and success in and beyond school. We provide quality education that enables our students to develop attributes and skills to achieve their full potential and to succeed in their chosen post–school endeavours.  Staff are highly professional and dedicated to working diligently to improve the learning opportunities and life options for students. Selection Criteria 1. Approval to teach English (7-12) and History 2. Capacity to develop and deliver high quality teaching and learning programs that cater for the needs of a diverse range of learners 3. Ability to support student engagement and wellbeing through effective classroom management skills 4. Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to work collaboratively and build relationships within the school community Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
