Temporary, full-time leave cover International Grammar School (IGS) is a vibrant, secular, coeducational school situated across five sites in Ultimo, Glebe and Kangaroo Valley. There are over 1300 students from Early Learning to Year 12 being educated in a unique bilingual environment. We are seeking to appoint an Early Learning Centre (ELC) Administrator responsible for providing effective, inclusive and respectful customer service and efficient, accurate and timely administrative support within our long day care program. This is a temporary role to cover for a staff member on Parental Leave, commencing 4 June 2024 and anticipated to be until 4 January 2025. The IGS Early Learning Centre is approved for 120 children, aged 3-5 years, enrolled 8.35am to 3pm during IGS school terms, with the option of children attending extended hours 7.30am to 6pm, 50 weeks per year. Our Centre encourages children to explore and discover their world and supports the joy of learning another language and music - our school’s unique offerings. The Early Learning Centre (ELC) Administrator is responsible for providing effective, inclusive and respectful customer service and efficient, accurate and timely administrative support within our ELC. They will be required to complete a range of organisational duties to support both the Director of Early Learning and the smooth operation of the Centre, within the ELC – Year 12 context of IGS. Key criteria: ● previous, highly successful administrative experience in an early learning centre ● broad and highly developed technology skills and experience, including with PEP databases, MS Office and Google Suite ● experience with Xplor or similar software ● strong working knowledge of Child Care Subsidy and managing fee payment procedures within Xplor or similar software ● ability to manage a range of tasks in a fast-paced team environment with attention to detail and exemplary time management skills ● passion and initiative identifying best practice administrative procedures and systems ● excellent written and oral communication skills ● effective relationship building / interpersonal skills with a variety of stakeholders.
