Join us at Mackay Regional Council's Sarina Depot and be a part of our dedicated Civil Operations team About the Role:As a Truck Driver within our Civil Operations team, you will be at the forefront of various tasks related to road maintenance, drainage assets, and other essential civil infrastructure projects. Operating a range of vehicles, your responsibilities will also include driving a Rigid Motor Vehicle (Truck) with a GCM exceeding 43T. Additionally, you will actively contribute to laboring duties such as earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, bitumen application, and vegetation work. Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Needed:Current General Construction Safety White CardCurrent QLD HC Class Driver LicensePrevious experience in driving tandem axle trucks in diverse road conditions.Desirable experience in automatic and road ranger gearboxesKnowledge and experience in roads and drainage maintenance and construction techniquesCertificates of Competency to operate Civil Construction plant and/or equipment.Candidates with a Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or Traffic Controllers Tickets will receive strong consideration.
