Position Information Sydney Boys High School (enrolment 1209, 87% of students are from a non-English speaking background), is a leading selective school dedicated to providing opportunities for gifted boys to excel in academic, sporting, cultural, leadership and community service endeavours, within an inclusive environment that nurtures personal development, collegial learning and friendship. Selection Criteria Approval to teach careers. Demonstrated ability to engage community agencies, groups and parents in authentic partnerships required to support post-school pathway options for all students from diverse backgrounds including high potential and gifted students and students with disabilities. A strong understanding of NESA requirements, pathways to post-school destinations and programs that support transitions. High level interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community. Ability to support school wide roles and/or initiatives that ensure effective management, support and wellbeing of students. Willingness to contribute to the school’s gifted education and co-curricular programs. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
