Position Information Elderslie High School, located between Narellan and Camden, is a comprehensive coeducational school (Years 7-12) with an enrolment of 900 students including 63 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students and a support unit. Our broad curriculum is designed to cater for the diverse range of student learning needs. There is a strong tradition of academic excellence at Elderslie High School including the delivery of extension courses. Selection Criteria Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Autism and behavioural difficulties. Demonstrated capacity to deliver differentiated curriculum across multistage classes that cater for a diverse range of learning needs. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated evidence of working collaboratively with a highly dynamic team of staff, families and the wider school community. Proven capacity to cater for the diverse wellbeing needs of students in a Support Unit setting within a mainstream school. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
