Position Information Auburn Girls High School is a partially academic selective and comprehensive high school with an enrolment of 850 girls, 98% of whom have language background other than English. The school has increasingly outstanding HSC and NAPLAN results due to a strong commitment to building collective teacher efficiency and using evidence-based practices to target areas including literacy, numeracy and HPGE. Auburn Girls High School has developed a strength-based positive Education wellbeing platform where every student is known, valued and cared for within a culture of high expectations and academic rigour. The school’s motto is: Learn, Lead, Succeed. Selection Criteria Approval to  teach Science Years 7-10 and/or willingness to teach Chemistry. Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective teaching programs that integrate literacy and numeracy to  meet the diverse learning and wellbeing needs of a wide range of students that include HPGE and  EAL/D students.   Ability to work as part of a collaborative faculty as well as contribute to whole school programs. Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community.  Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
