Position Information Cheltenham Girls’ High School with an enrolment of 1400 students, including 69% students from a non-English speaking background, is a leading comprehensive girls' school with strong traditions. The classroom teacher will work with a dedicated faculty team to plan and deliver highly effective teaching and learning programs. They will participate in and contribute to, whole school professional learning to support continuous improvement in student growth and performance.  Selection Criteria Approval to teach English 7-12 with the capacity to teach all compulsory Senior English courses. Approval to teach English Extension 1 and 2 and willingness to teach junior Drama. Demonstrated capacity to collaborate within a dynamic English faculty to develop quality teaching and learning programs, lessons and resources utilising technology, for Stage 4, 5 and 6 English courses . Demonstrated ability to incorporate effective feedback and assessment strategies to inform teaching practice and support student growth . Demonstrated ability to contribute to faculty and whole school initiatives such as literacy programs and debating and public speaking programs. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
