The Instrumental Music Program at Stretton State College is an integral part of our College community, where ensembles regularly play for school events, as well as gala concerts, MusicFest, and the Fanfare Festival. Stretton has also performed at International Band Festivals in Hawaii and Singapore. The successful candidate must be able to teach in the area of instrumental music and have experience teaching woodwind and preferrably have playing experience on woodwind instruments.Conducting experience in concert and stage bands is preferrable. The instrumental music program at Stretton State College has over 450 students across both the multi and strings programs, and seeks to provide opportunities for students to play and perform on their chosen instrument. At the pinnicale of the program are our premier ensembles, performing level four repertoire.This position is full-time with teaching across our primary and secondary campuses. This position is not part of a circuit.
