You will be a part of the Mine Safety Technology (MST) team's who provide technical support and emergency response to the coal mining industry with state-of-the-art mine gas monitoring systems. We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas: Broad and transferrable skills that can be applied to successfully undertake administration duties Good time management, organising skills and job focus abilities Effective interpersonal skills Adaptive and active communication styles Proven ability to create and maintain successful positive working relationships The role is responsible for supporting these key elements of Mine Safety Technology services: maintaining the MST Team's record management system, responding to correspondence, monitoring deadlines, prioritising, and following up task progress, promptly, tactfully and with appropriate confidentiality. Organising and coordinating of purchasing and procurement as required. Interfacing and liaising with clients, internal and external stakeholders either by telephone or face-to-face to facilitate the efficient and effective administration of day-to-day operations of the work unit. Managing staff competency records for Simtars Mine Emergency Response. Co-ordinating travel requirements including flight bookings, accommodation, car hire and travel claims. Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, quotations, tender documents, presentations, and technical reports.
