Job Description Casual Roving / Relief Role Newly Created Role Cover all Metro based homes leave& related requirements I this role you will cover leave requirements across our metropolitan home which range from Matraville, Randwick, Darlinghurst and Surry Hills, to Croydon, Lewisham, Lane Cove and Hunter's Hill. As a member of the Catering team, you will be preparing meals for our residents and managing an established team of catering assistants. This role includes overseeing effective meal service to our aged care residents, as well as providing best practice service in kitchen cleanliness, documentation and food preparation. To be successful in the role, you will have: Qualified Chef , Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Previous experience in managing a kitchen and kitchen staff Previous experience in an Aged Care environment, highly desirable Knowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principles Demonstrated Workplace Health and Safety knowledge Experience with the Vulnerable person food safety act Willingness to provide Flu and Covid vaccination evidence NDIS check or willing to obtain
