Position Information Moorebank High School is a dynamic partially selective and comprehensive high school situated in southwest Sydney. The school has 1040 students with 1.6% of students from an Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander background and 78% of students from a language background other than English. In 2021 Moorebank High School established a support unit with three autism support classes. Selection Criteria Approval to teach English years 7-12 Demonstrated ability to develop English programs that integrate evidence-based teaching strategies for a diverse range of learners. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a faculty team with strong pedagogical practices around programming, assessment and feedback. Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to contribute to faculty and whole school programs. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
