Position Information Parramatta West Public School is a large and growing school of over 920 students. Over 94% of students are from non-English speaking backgrounds, with 82% requiring some level of EAL/D (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) support. Our students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. The staff have a range of experiences, from beginning teachers to teachers with many years in classrooms. This includes undertaking activities to meet student learning outcomes as well as special activities including dance, music, sport, debating, drama and STEM enrichment programs. Highly developed interpersonal skills to actively contribute to a culture that values collaboration, high expectations and building positive partnerships with the whole school community. Evidence of effective and positive classroom management to develop an engaging learning environment that enhances the wellbeing of all students. Demonstrated capacity and willingness to support whole school programs and extra-curricular activities, including but not limited to drama and sport, to strengthen school culture.  Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
