Position Information At Bowral High School we are committed to building positive relationships with students, parents and staff that support students to feel connected to the school and learn. Our student enrolment, totalling 680, encompasses 60 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students. and a growing number of students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. A rich and challenging academic program exists alongside opportunities in vocational education that offer students individual pathways to work, university, and TAFE or private colleges. Selection Criteria Approval to teach Science and a willingness to teach Marine Studies. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and connections between staff, students and the wider school community to enhance student engagement. An ability to work collegially as part of the Science faculty to develop quality teaching programs and assessments that cater to students of all levels with a willingness to contribute to whole school initiatives. Demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching practice with an ability to develop and implement teaching and learning programs to cater for the needs of a diverse range of students Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
