About the Role: Seeking a talented Ethics Administration Officer for a 6-month contract role in the education sector. Reporting to the Animal Ethics Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting animal and human research ethics committees, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies while offering expert advice and assistance to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Provide secretariat support to research ethics committees, including agenda preparation and minute-taking. Process and prepare correspondence regarding ethics committee decisions and research protocols. Offer advice and training on ethical research applications and manage inquiries. Maintain accurate records of research ethics protocols and undertake website maintenance. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects. Requirements: Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritise tasks. Experience in servicing committees and managing records. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines in research ethics.
