Your Role at St John of God Berwick Hospital To maintain a comprehensive credentialing process for Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and Nursing and Allied Health Professionals (N&AH). To ensure that VMO mandatory requirements of accreditation are upheld around medical indemnity insurance, vaccination records and Working with Childrens requirements. The Position Working closely with the Medical Administration Manager (MAM) to maintain a comprehensive credentialing process for Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and Nursing and Allied Health Professionals (N&AH). Ensure new specialist VMOs are onboarded with digital technology requirements and swipe access cards prior to start date. Manage the re-credentialing process for VMOs and N&AHs to ensure strict compliance with the designated credentialing cycle. Ensure all electronic records are maintained to ensure expirable data is kept current. Perform regular audit reviews of the doctor database in WebPAS, verifying information and producing regular or ad-hoc reports on request. Provide credentialing reports for Medical Scope of Practice and Medical Advisory Committee where necessary. Provide backup administrative support to the Medical Scope of Practice Committee. Support the Medical Administration Manager (MAM) with project work. Provides leave cover for the MAM. Provides backup administrative support to the Medical Advisory Committee and Medical Scope of Practice Committee. Circulation of memos and comms as directed by the DMS, CEO, DCS. All other reasonable duties as directed by the DMS, CEO, DON/DCS or the MAM. You will have experience Previous Credentialing and Medical Administration experience in an acute care setting, as well as, current working knowledge and understanding of medical and related health accreditation systems and credentialing requirements. To succeed you will communicate effectively with Consultants, Executive, Managers, Caregivers, and other external stakeholders in a courteous manner whilst conveying a high level of professionalism. You will also possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet competing deadlines.
