Our Lady of Mercy College (OLMC), Parramatta is a leading Catholic independent school for girls established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1889. The College is located within a dynamic educational precinct in North Parramatta. The College is seeking a full time, permanent teacher of English and Religious Education. The primary purpose of this role is to nurture the gifts and talents of each student ensuring that our Catholic practices and Mercy Values underpin all aspects of life in the school. In particular, the successful applicant will have comprehensive knowledge of and experience in teaching Stage 4 and 5 with the ability to teach Stage 6 is preferred. Experience providing and developing coursework that meets the syllabus, preparing tasks that challenge our students to think deeply, and timely and constructive feedback that guides reflection and improvement.
