APS4 Administration Officer — Sydney CBD, Sydney

About the role: Contract position starting the 8 th of April until the end of June - potential for extension. This role can be performed at any of the client offices including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney. APS4 level $48 per hour Super Full time hours Monday to Friday - 2 DAYS WFH PER WEEK Number of opportunities available Candidates must be Australian citizens and be willing to undertake a Police check to be considered for this role. The Administration Assistant provides administration support to the division. The administration assistant reports to the Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager of the division. The Administration Assistant will perform some or all of the following duties: Co-ordinating division-wide input into regular reporting Supporting divisional staff with recruitment activities including lodging recruitment documentation, booking scribes and booking interviews Provide support for meetings including managing invitations and responses, arranging meeting rooms, video conference bookings Supporting divisional staff in preparing procurement documentation and liaising with procurement officers Assist in the management of documents utilising and adhering to the records management system. Booking and managing travel arrangements for divisional staff Providing ad-hoc administrative support as required. About you: We are looking for tech savvy professionals with previous administrative experience in the government space. Previous experience in providing administration assistance in a fast paced, high volume and pressured professional work environment will help you to hit the ground running. The role requires strong IT skills in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc) and Microsoft Outlook, and an ability to quickly learn other software specific to the role (training will be provided): QBT travel booking system MyRecruit recruitment management system Records management systems. Other important skills: Prioritise work tasks effectively within a dynamic and fast paced environment and respond quickly to changing demands within tight timeframes. Be well organised, reliable and have excellent attention to detail. Build and sustain positive relationships in a service delivery environment.
