Our Sport & Racing Profilers are part of the Trading Risk team. This team is one of our fastest-moving teams we have, so we're looking for people who are quick thinkers, collaborative and have a keen-eye for numbers to join us We know that this type of role is specific to our industry, so we're also looking for people who are keen to learn If you're still reading, you are no doubt wondering what a Sport & Racing Profiler does… Profilers (AKA Risk Analysts) focus on managing our bottom line, monitor betting trends and market prices and work with our Customer, Trade and many other teams to ensure Sportsbet Customers are having the best-in-class experience they're looking for. Responsibilities Include (thing's we'll teach you) Customer Profiling - Understand a customer's betting pattern and ensure they're playing within their limits Monitoring Betting and Market Prices - Oversee the bets being placed and ensure the prices we offer are correct Managing Liabilities - Review the build-up of payouts for events to ensure they are acceptable risks to the business The Risk & Trading team in Melbourne adopt a flexible working week policy but please note this role will have a strong weighting towards weekend work.
