11.5 month contract | ACT Location | State Government Agency | Full time position About the company Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an Client Services Librarian. This position is located in their busy Garren office for an initial 11.5 month contract. Duties Provide basic reference and research in evidence-based healthcare for clients to support people-centred care, research, teaching and training priorities. In collaboration with Client Services Librarians perform rostered service desk duties, assisting clients with enquiries and the efficient use of library resources, and complete associated administration tasks such as returning and shelving books. Provide client services including document supply, cataloguing electronic and physical resources, collection maintenance and administrative tasks, and develop procedures on these tasks to promote consistent delivery of library services for clients. Provide support for library projects as the library assesses and implements innovative technology and systems that optimise the discovery of and access to scholarly eResources and the delivery of digital library services. Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the organisation.
