About the role: The Conducted Energy Device (CED) Project, within the Operational Infrastructure Department is responsible for equipping frontline police and Protective Service Officers (PSOs) with CEDs through a state-wide deployment over a five-year period. Within the CED Project, is the Infrastructure Project Team. This team works within the Facilities Division of Victoria Police and plans, builds and maintains police stations, buildings and facilities throughout Victoria. The Facilities Division is part of the Operational Infrastructure Department which also provides fleet management and warehousing functions for uniform and equipment. The Infrastructure Project Team is seeking one Project Administrator to support a program of infrastructure works to facilitate the rollout of CEDs in police stations and facilities across Victoria. The role reports directly to the CED Infrastructure Program Manager, in the Facilities Division, working with executive and operational level stakeholders within police, across local, state and commonwealth government and with key delivery partners. Your duties will include: Support the delivery of infrastructure works that enables a broader program involving the deployment of CED's Support the development and maintenance of relevant project control artefacts to ensure the works are completed to the required quality, in a compliant manner and on time to enable the broader CED program rollout schedule Management of information and communication processes and data bases Stakeholder management of consultants and contractors required to deliver the infrastructure works May be required to work, as directed, at various work locations and there may be some travel involved across Victoria to support the state-wide delivery of infrastructure uplift for CED readiness Support of procurement, purchase orders and payment processes As the successful applicant, you will have: Experience in building related quality and compliance assurance program preferred Experience in administrative support for the delivery of infrastructure solutions including building refurbishments Experience working collaboratively with key stakeholders Ability to identify project related risks and issues Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, written and verbal communication skills Experience supporting 24x7 operations A strong commitment to supporting the Operational Infrastructure Department 2022 – 2026 Strategy by actively driving the customer centric, innovative, and collaborative goals, continuously finding new ways to improve our service. Requirements and relevant information: One (1) x full-time, fixed term position available until 30/06/2025. This position is working within the Conducted Energy Device Project, Facilities Division located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands, with occasional work required on other police facilities.
