Our team strategically supports our growing portfolio of hotels, and works closely with other teams in our business to secure and retain more business from our core customer, the corporate traveller. Our RSM's are responsible for the acquisition and production of their allocated accounts, which will include a broad range of industries located in a specific geographic region. The goal? To secure new corporate accounts and optimise production of these accounts across our network in the first 12-months of the relationships. Your experience will allow you to influence travel bookers, decision makers and key stakeholders because you'll seek to know the intimate details of their travel needs and provide suitable (& sometimes creative) solutions. As RSM you'll be out and about building relationships with corporate clients, and working with our hotels and corporate office team. Local travel will be required regularly in line with the nature of this regional role. Accountabilities At Veriu you'll know exactly what you need to achieve to be successful in your role, and you'll be held accountable for the: Acquisition of new corporate business (from your allocated target account list) within a specific geographic location for both local properties and properties outside the designated zone Achievement of corporate account acquisition and production targets Timely qualification of sales leads through direct company engagement and meetings Clear delivery of tailored and prompt accommodation solutions and rate proposals to travel bookers through a comprehensive understanding of their needs and requirements Use of clear, detailed and collaborative communication of rate offering to hotel key stakeholders to ensure delivery of expected experience and requirements Seamless introduction and handover of accounts as required by the sales framework Complete integrity of data entered in the CRM Identification of new sales leads into the lead qualifying pipeline Brand representation and awareness Benefits You'll be someone looking for a long-term career with a growing, Australian-owned hotel group. Your strong experience in a similar B2B account management role within hotels will be key to your success, enabling you to be autonomous and strategic at a Group-level autonomously, while also ensuring that internal relationships are valued as much as external. You'll be intrinsically motivated to achieve targets, value your relationships with our hotel operations, and embrace opportunities to be a brand ambassador. Above all, you'll have a friendly and articulate approach to communicating. The successful person must have: Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights) Minimum 3 years business development experience in hotels Intrinsic motivation to achieve targets Ability to think strategically and plan Excellent relationship management skills Strong understanding of hotel sales and negotiations Excellent collaboration, assertiveness and communication (written and verbal at all levels) Effective organisation, detail orientation and time management Ability to influence decision makers and provide creative solutions High EQ
