Position Information Killarney Heights High School is a comprehensive co-educational school with a population of 1050 students, 43% EALD, located 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD in a bushland setting near the northern beaches of Sydney. Selection Criteria Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. Approval to teach T XD (Textiles and Design/Textile Technology) with proven success in the classroom using explicit teaching practices. Demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous programs, which effectively assess student progress, provide quality feedback and differentiate to meet the needs of all students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong working relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider school community. Capacity to implement whole school Positive Behaviour for Engaged Learning framework to consistently to manage student wellbeing and behaviour. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
