About the role Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our West Angelas mine operations on a 5/2/4/3 roster FIFO from Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Management and Engineering Services, you will: Lead the Defect Elimination process on site, including high level root cause analysis (RCA) for asset failures Analyse plant performance data to successfully identify, prioritise and implement reliability improvement initiatives Recommend and implement tactics designed to maintain asset health and improve asset safety, reliability and integrity Provide technical engineering support to the site maintenance execution teams Champion reliability practices on site including FMECA, RCM/PMO, criticality and spares assessments, constraint optimisation and identify opportunities for reliability-focussed investment What you will bring The ability to work collaboratively across a diverse range of stakeholders and operational teams Experience leading continuous improvement activities Practical experience and an understanding of reliability modelling and concepts - FMECA, RCM, etc. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or related discipline and previous maintenance or reliability experience within a mining environment Experience in SAP, Downtime Systems and GE APM will be advantageous A current and valid manual 'C Class' driver's licence An understanding of Iron Ore fixed plant processing equipment such as conveyors, screens, crushers and balance machines will be beneficial Where you will be working This position is based at our West Angelas mine operation, working an 5/2/4/3 FIFO roster from Perth. Applicants must be residing in or willing to permanently relocate to Western Australia. Located 110km west of Newman, West Angelas operates on a fly in fly out roster from Perth, Broome and Busselton. West Angelas is a pioneer in autonomous technologies - we were the first site to trial autonomous haul trucks and incorporate autonomous drilling into our operations in 2008, and we continue to have one of the largest mining fleets in the Pilbara. Our high grade, low phosphorous Marra Mamba orebody is an integral part of the Pilbara Blend, contributing both lump and fines products on around four trains each day. At the West Angelas hub there are state-of-the-art power generation and refueling facilities. These facilities supply power and diesel fuel to the East Pilbara mine sites. The future is bright at West Angelas with ongoing growth projects at Deposits C and D, as well as additional deposits under study providing enormous opportunities for personal development and career growth.
