Description & Requirements: About The Role We are searching for a Database Engineer to make their mark in our global, collaborative team that will proactively nurture the development of your career. You will predominantly be responsible for writing stored procedures/queries with complex business logic, setting up/managing data masking processes, tuning system performance, participating in solution design and ensuring database best practices are adhered to. What You'll Do Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to: Assist with analysing support issues and where applicable implementing data fixes Provide technical assistance and support to Midwinter clients as and when required Participate in solution design from a database and security perspective Undertake troubleshooting and problem solving of software defects and application issues Debug code to identify and rectify defects or data issues Unleash Your Potential At least 2 years' experience in a similar role Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology A true passion for databases and set-based thinking Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with high level of attention to details Strong understanding of SQL server including Backup/Recovery and Security and query optimisation and performance Experience with Data masking and a strong understanding of PII data Strong understanding of software design patterns So, what's next?
