Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within 2024, up to the end of April, 2025. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development. Suitable applicants will be required to use advanced features in Microsoft products to prepare documents, including brochures, spreadsheets, charts, and tables. Administration Assistants will manage incoming telephone calls and visitor enquiries from internal and external clients while providing clerical and administrative support as required. This role will require suitable applicants to prepare, process and deliver incoming and outgoing correspondence, action routine matters by drafting responses and prepare basic reports; ensuring correspondence protocols are followed. Administration Assistants will work within teams and across business units to ensure integrated service delivery to schools and the system. They will assist managerial staff meet their financial, procurement and human resources responsibilities, including reconciling credit card expenditure, checking certification reports and invoices and monitoring expenditure. Demonstrated good written, oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of individuals and provide customer-focussed services Demonstrated experience in purchasing, processing accounts for payment and monitoring expenditure for a work unit. Demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills with the ability to meet competing priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
