About the Role The Engineering Manager will have management responsibility as well as be active in supporting the delivery / project management of specific projects at Kwinana. Working within the nominated region, the purpose of this role is to utilise the skills and knowledge of an experienced Engineering Manager to work with ATOM Operations, ATOM clients, partners and key contractors to identify and deliver the project work, identify appropriate risk reduction, reliability improvements and work that is required by ATOM to continue to support customers. The Engineering Manager will work at Kwinana. About You If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments (oil & gas, mining, etc.) this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority. If you haven't worked in these industries that's no problem as we provide all necessary training and value diversity of experience. To be successful in this role you will have: Hold valid permanent work rights in Australia for this full-time position. Current or previous experience working shifts. Current / Previous experience in the hydrocarbon industry – either from within consulting field or site-based construction supervisory experience (e.g. mechanical, pipelines, electrical or structural/civil) would be advantageous Project/Portfolio Management or Supervisor experience Demonstrated performance in safety management, which includes familiarity with Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis, Hazard/Risk Assessment, and basic understanding of OH&S regulations. Sound interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage the expectations of the role with appropriate and professional assertiveness.
