The Position The Development Administrator will be the first point of contact for planning and building matters in relation to application lodgment and documentation requirements. This position will coordinate enquiries, application lodgment, fee payment & notification of development, in accordance with Council's Community Participation Plan. We ensure Albury is a great place to live, work and invest. Qualifications & experience Certificate in Office Administration or equivalent relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in a customer service and administrative role. Tasks & responsibilities Coordinate and manage the application lodgement process for development/construction/complying/plumbing applications and other Local Government Act Approvals. Coordinate and manage neighbour notification of development proposals. Coordinate and manage the NSW Planning Portal for online lodgement of Applications To provide advice, information and direction on planning and building related matters Update and maintain Council's Authority Database relevant to the Applications Management module Attend to telephone, email and online enquiries in relation to planning and building matters Hours Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
