Offering and opportunity to teach Foundation students beginning in Term 3 in a full time, ongoing position. A late Term 2 start for a full handover would also be offered. Work collaboratively within a small, supportive teaching team and fantastic leadership. Key duties: Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students. Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement. Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes. Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community. Skills & Experience: Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration Demonstrate previous experience in teaching lower Primary in Australia Experience working with a Catholic school advantageous Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
