About the role: Reporting to the General Manager, this key leadership role for the Homebuyers brand has come up due to internal promotion. The Victorian Sales Managers (VSM) primary responsibility is to drive sales performance in alignment with annual targets and objectives. The VSM optimises the performance of the sales team specific to Greenfield, Regional and Medium Density divisions. This includes collaborating with the marketing team for lead generation and retail activity, providing input into product development and display home management, developing and implementing sales strategies, providing hands-on coaching and development for the sales team (including Regional Sales Managers, New Home Consultants, and support staff) and fostering a high-performance sales culture. Skills, experience & qualifications: Seasoned and highly engaging sales leader with experience managing sales managers. Proven track record of building sales strategies and developing high-performing sales teams. Ability to think strategically, identifying market opportunities and future-proofing sales pipelines. Effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and understand customer needs. Authentic, passionate, and people-focused leader who naturally motivates and inspires. Solution-oriented with a relentless attitude towards achieving goals. Proficient in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, with experience in data-led decision-making based on insights and analysis. Strong understanding of sales funnel management. Experience in recruitment and developing sales talent. High energy, self-motivation and a 'can-do' attitude. Comfortable transitioning between strategic and tactical operational initiatives.
