Your responsibilities will include assisting with purchasing, asset management, and accounts payable processes, as well as assisting in human resource management activities such as maintaining systems, practices, and policies. Additionally, you will contribute to quality assurance efforts by assisting to ensure proper storage and ongoing management of electronic documentation. Familiarity with, or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the Tribunal's operational environment and its statutory role under the Mental Health Act 2016 is essential. The successful person You will have demonstrated: Administration support experience, including file management, electronic systems, and reception. Ability to work autonomously, delivering accurate and timely services. Strong personal management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, the with Mental Health Act 2016 and Tribunal policies. About us The Mental Health Review Tribunal, also known as the Tribunal, operates independently under the framework of the Mental Health Act 2016. Its main objective is to assess the involuntary status of individuals with mental illnesses or intellectual disabilities. This includes reviewing treatment authorities, forensic orders, treatment support orders, determining a person's trial fitness, and overseeing minors detained in high-security units. Additionally, the Tribunal handles applications for examination authorities, requests for regulated treatments, and approvals for patient transfers both into and out of Queensland. Furthermore, it handles a select number of appeals.
