We are seeking an FPGA Engineer to join the team at the forefront of innovation and technology. About the role: As an FPGA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the evolution of the trading systems. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of FPGA solutions, from concept to production. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of the hardware solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Drive the development cycle of FPGA solutions, from hardware selection to system testing, ensuring alignment with software requirements. Design and implement strategic signal processing algorithms, optimising for performance and efficiency. Establish internal protocols for system performance monitoring and safety standards, overseeing ongoing maintenance. Coordinate technical system installations and orders, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures. Develop embedded software for integration into internal systems, focusing on reliability and functionality. Conduct research and design programs to test electronic components, circuits, and systems. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a trading firm or financial institution, with exposure to trading systems and market dynamics. Solid understanding of FPGA design principles and experience with hardware description languages such as VHDL and/or SystemVerilog. Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C++ for FPGA integration and Python for scripting and automation. Exposure to Linux environments Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving requirements. Experience in implementing high-speed, low-latency programmable logic designs. Understanding of network protocols and infrastructure. Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
