Our client is a National Leader in sales and rentals of modular space solutions and workforce accommodation solutions across Australia are currently searching for a Yard Hand - All-Rounder to Join their team based in Smeaton Grange. POSITION BRIEF BELOW MONDAY TO FRIDAY WORK SMEATON GRANGE LOCATION TEMP TO PERMANENT FULLTIME POSITION 7:30AM - 3:30PM HOURS $36 PER HOUR PENALTIES COMMENCE ASAP ABOUT THE POSITION The Yard Hand All - Rounder will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance, repair and cleaning of Rental Fleet, operating forklifts as well as loading and unloading of building movements through the hire yard. Duties & responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: • Preparing buildings for hire, including washing and cleaning • Assisting with repairs and maintenance of buildings • Fit and Install Windows, Doors, Molding’s and Hardware • Sweeping and general cleaning of construction area • Observe and report hazards identified throughout the course of performing duties • Ensure work areas kept tidy and safe • Manual handling tasks & Material handling • Loading and unloading of buildings using 16t forklift • Maintain stock levels of frequently used materials • Store returned items in a tidy manner within storage areas • Provide direction to suppliers, deliveries and contractors when required • Other duties as required To be considered for this role, applicants MUST: Forklift Licence and experience A MUST White Card Have problem solving skills to make decisions Hand and power tool experience Self motivated and be able to work autonomously Ability to work individually and part of a team Be available to work Monday - Friday with possible Saturday (overtime where required) Must be physically fit (as manual handling will be involved) Be Reliable and Punctual Have own reliable transportation. Be available to commence ASAP Have all relevant PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including Steel Cap boots / High Visibility Clothing (any other required PPE will be advised) Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Check This position will provide stability and a full time permanent position with ongoing support for the successful applicants As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsit e Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test. >
