Administration Officer - Emergency Department - Hobart Private Hospital Permanent Part Time (37.5 hours per fortnight) Hobart Private Hospital is seeking experienced Administration Officer with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our Emergency Department team. Our Emergency Department provides 24/7 urgent medical care for patients in greater Hobart. Our experienced team works with leading specialists, physicians & surgeons on call. We have access to Orthopaedic, General surgery, Cardiology, Urology and other surgical specialties. The unit has on site Pathology, Radiology and Pharmacy providers. As an Administration Officer in the Emergency Department your responsibilities will as be follows: Working as part of a team in a 24 hour Emergency Department, according to Policies and Procedures, that works co-operatively, sharing roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of patients. Undertake DEM Reception duties Ensure that all DEM administration functions are performed efficiently and effectively ensuring excellent customer service Understands the tasks and activities of other front office DEM functions and undertakes as necessary Other duties as requested by Unit Manager Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with legislation and organisational policies Practices at all times in a manner that is consistent with organisational policies and procedures, including but not limited to OH&S, Workers' Compensation & Infection Control.
