One of our crew has had to leave suddenly and we urgently need one more person as we begin the busiest part of the 2024 season We are looking for a keen and capable person who already holds an Australian forklift licence to work in our mungbean grading shed at Australian Mungbean Company in Biloela, Queensland for up to 3 months starting immediately. The job includes operating the grading and bagging machinery, moving palletised goods with the forklift, keeping records and helping to maintain plant cleanliness. The job is eligible for WHV extension. You will join a team of 3 other WHV holders along with our permanent staff. We pay a generous hourly rate (including overtime where applicable) and superannuation. Work is typically 8-9 hours/day, 5-6 days/week. Some night-shift work may be available which is paid at 1.5x after 6pm. Accommodation is available in a comfortable air-conditioned cottage, walking distance from work and the centre of town for $25/night. Biloela is a regional centre of around 5000 with two grocery shops, three pubs and even three sets of traffic lights Its only 90 minutes drive to Rockhampton, Gladstone, the beach, or Kroombit Tops and Cania Gorge national parks. In just under 3 hours you can be snorkelling on Great Keppel Island or bushwalking at the spectacular Canarvon Gorge. Having a vehicle would be useful but not a necessity.
