You will be responsible for leading the switchboard projects and managing the design and manufacturing program to ensure a successful outcome. What’s great about this role: Career advancement opportunities available Rare opportunity to work on one-off designs and projects Competitive salary package on offer Hands-on role with variety Duties: Overseeing and developing switchboard designs based on customer requirements and project estimates Liaising with clients regarding design approval and any variations Liaising with customers, and working to develop and maintain customer relationships Monitoring workshop construction and fit-out, and inspecting completed projects before dispatch Establish and maintain accurate files for all project documentation, which ensures ease of retrieval Skills and Experience: Specialist experience in designing low-voltage switchboards, desirable but not essential. Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering Qualification, desirable but not essential Proven background in project management and leading small teams Proficient in interpreting single-line diagrams and schematics, with expert knowledge of switchboard standards, electrical standards, and wiring rules, Exceptional communication and customer service skills and troubleshooting abilities Capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects, including project scheduling, delivery, and stakeholder management Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Office How to apply All applications are to be submitted online – click APPLY.
