Customer Service Officer — Forrestfield, Kalamunda Area

Purpose of the Position: The purpose of the position is prepare and submit variations and quotes to customers in line with customer trade agreements and company policy and procedure, within the required timeframes for appraisal, liaise with customers to clarify specifics and negotiate alterations depending on capacity, supply, and other constraints including the efficient and accurate tracking and quoting of NCN and warranty claims. In addition to the above, the person in the role will be required to be a main contact point for our customers and attend to general customer enquiries and order entry as required. Responsibilities of the Position: Ensures all request for quotes are completed within the acceptable timeframes as outlines by the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Ensures all variations are processed and submitted for approval within SLA timeframes. Liaises with customer to clarify specifics and negotiate alterations depending on capacity, supply, and other constraints. Ensures all quotations are underpinned by a Supply Chain Management plan which is formally handed over to the relevant CS team member for fulfilment once an order is received. Ensures all NCN's and Warranty claims are quoted where required and closed according to company policy and procedure. Provides weekly NCN update to key customers. Ensure any relevant NCN's are escalated to Account Executive, SCOP and Customer Service Team lead as determined by matrix. Experience: Ability to conduct detailed investigations and to provide clear and decisive diagnosis of root cause. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Be dynamic and able to think and act quickly to reprioritise workload to respond to fleet and operational changes. Qualifications & Training for the role: Previous experience in a customer facing position with high level data entry accuracy. Experience preparing quotes with strong numerical skills and an analytical mindset. Why work for Progress Rail?
