The Opportunity: With general oversight, the Electrical Engineer will deliver specialised engineering services focused on marine/mechanical engineering in the support of the material remediation of the configuration baseline of the AORs. Responsibilities: Investigate deficiencies in design, materials, and system performance as per contract specification, and contribute to devising solutions to address these issues Assess and provide feedback on engineering modifications, including supporting ILS documentation Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as AORCA SPO staff, AOR Ship’s staff, the in-service Support Contractor (Navantia), and Lloyd’s Register in the course of your duties Take part in the planning and execution of tests and trails to evaluate system performance against design intent Offer specialist guidance in support of the RP team members engaged in multi-disciplinary projects Prepare comprehensive technical reports and related documentation as required What you will bring: Hold an active AGSVA Security Clearance Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering 8 years post-graduate experience, ideally in a maritime / naval engineering environment Understanding and ability to work within the Seaworthiness Management System Qualified to hold a Suitably Qualified and Experiences Personnel (SQEP) delegation The client is an equal opportunity employer and are dedicated to providing an inclusive and diverse working environment.
